GenCon Seminar on Diamond Edition
In the past week, Ray Lau and Mark Jeflo,with the help of AEG's amazing General Manager, Maureen Yates, and the wonderful Jonni Emrich at GenCon – have managed to secure a ballroom at the Marriott Hotel on Saturday Night (9:00 PM to 11:00 PM) to host a Diamond Edition Forum. Similar to the event that Wizards of the Coast hosted three years ago to launch Gold Edition, AEG will be hosting an event to officially premier the next L5R CCG base set, Diamond Edition.
Speakers will include Mark Jeflo, Ray Lau, Jeff Alexander, Rich Wulf, and Dan Tibbles. They will not only be handing out the complete cardlist of Diamond Edition to all attendees, but will also have a full slide show revealing:
- The new abilities of the five Rings
- The new abilities of the five Winds
- The new abilities of the Clan Champions
- The Strongholds
- The returning "Soul of…" Personalities
- …and the many MANY returning fan-favorite cards
This will be followed by a complete review of rules updates, clarifications, and explanation of environmental changes that were made when designing the set to improve both the game and gameplay… topped of by a Q&A session. In short, a complete orientation for anyone wishing to get the complete 411 on Diamond Edition. I hope everyone will take the time to attend, as Ray and I are burning the midnight oil to pull this all together.
