A Munchkin is a player who uses any means possible to achieve the most powerful and deadly character they can. They don't care how much they go against the spirit of the rules, as long as they can get more deadly characters. Usually they are also Rules Lawyers.

A Munchkin is likely to tell you about how his 900th level character took on Shub Niggurath all on his own and didn't even take any damage or go mad during the battle. He will then point out how he was in this great game where they were all Gods and how they had this battle over the Universe and how he killed all the others and then destroyed the Universe because he could.
