May 29th 2000
A couple of changes today, I have added the 1999/2000 council list to the town hall and completed all the email addresses on the 2000 list, note somea re different from the back of the membership cards. I have also expanded and modified the statements page (get to that from the front page). I also put a link to these notes from the front page of the village which was missing from before.
Added a new noticeboard, this one for discussion about roleplaying and gaming in general, taking that sort of topic off the town hall, whichw as getting a bit crowded. This is the Roleplaying Noticeboard.
May 2000
Well a lot has changed since the last time that I updated these notes. This is more due to me forgetting about the notes than anything else. However a rough summary of the major updates is as follows:
- All web pages given a new parchment background
- All web pages with no function removed, images placed in the gallery, this includes the Boar and Blade, Hill Street, the Graveyard and more.
- A standard toolbar and stylesheet placed at the top of all pages
- All internal links changed to reflect the new URL to the website, from www.ed.ac.uk/~geas to www.eusa.ed.ac.uk/societies/geas/
- All external links in the Main Road, Docks and the 'what is roleplaying' section changed and updated
- Front page tottally re-written to give access to all the main pages in the site directly (though old navigation remains)
- The Town Hall Noticeboard re-written to a 2 frame design
- The Town Hall re-written to remove the old scripts and information
- Finally up to date with all the council lists
- Constitution (last altered 1996/97) added to the site, this realy is the ratified current constitution as far as I know
- A totally redesigned convention section, which had a much better look and feel this year than before
- Small change - the first message on the boards is now always in bold
