The War with the Gods
For many ages the mortal races suffered at the hands of dread Ishok and foul Talloc, and they could not stand against them. Neither God was able too best the other, nor did they dare risk their own lives by head on conflict, so the world was ground too dust beneath the feet of their armies instead.
At last the humans turned too Talloc and offered to aid him against Ishok. With the concerted weight of the Tesks and the humans Talloc was able to best Ishok, ripping him assunder. Then, exhasusted, he fell, and the humans were able too slay him too, cutting up his body into many potent parts and scattering them so that he might never be brought back. The Eyes, Heart, Claws, Spleen, and more of Ishok they also scattered, for the same reasons, and over the years those dread artefacts have surfaced in the service of evil time and again.
The Demons flee
With their masters dead the demons of the Leng and Tesk fled the world
and went to their own places of hiding. Here they retained their power,
and their hatred of each other. The Tesk Demons are often summoned by
Mages, and are content enough to aid them for some reward, but the Leng
demons it is forbidden to summon, for they seek to bring back fould
Ishok and enslave the world once more. For this reason the Kings and
Princes of the Leng work through such lesser pawns as the Dark Elves.
The Coming of the Younger Gods
And after the Elder Gods were dead new Gods came too the world, the
Younger Gods, and these Gods are now worshipped by many of teh mortal
races. And while some may be more evil than others and some more good
they alike had all hid from the dark Gods and do not wish to see such
evil power on the world any more.
