The word Minatures is used to refer to lead figures, usually 25-27mm high, used as visualisation aids in some roleplaying games, and as troops in wargames. In the early days of roleplaying, when games were still close to their origins as wargames, the use of figures was common, but they became increasingly uncommon, and now are hardly ever used in roleplaying games.
