Horror

See list of Qualities.

Nasty things lurk in the woodshed, the floorspace, the attic, the cupboard, in fact almost anywhere that you can fit a Zombie with a chainsaw. There are two general types of Horror:

Supernatural
This kind of horror invokes evil forces beyond the ability of hummanity to face, zombies, vampires, or elder gods. The general inspiration for such games is H.P Lovecraft's Cthulhu world or Anne Rice's Vampires.

Natural
This kind of horror bases itself on the monsters and evils of the world familiar to the characters. Something such as AD&D's Ravenloft setting is natural Horror, despite its Ghould, Lichs and Vampires, because such things are already a fimiliar part of the AD&D world. It is only the setting that they are in that is Supernatural.
