After building my MRLS I realised that I
didn't have a soldier to go with it. Modern solider customs seem to be
few and far between so I decided to make my own. This soldier is in a
standard camo outfit, with a protective helmet and a flak jacket to
protect his body. Over this he wears a set of webbing, from which hang
a series of pouches, a backpack, and a bed roll.
This figure started life as a biker, wearing a heavy vest and a helmet.
I painted both of these grey, and then painted a camo pattern over them.
After this was dry I added the webbing using a series of millput parts,
which was then painted. After the whole lot was varnished it was moved
to a custom made body featuring a farmer's boots, solder's arms and a
dark green body. I also painted laces on the boots.
